A pair of new old stock Shoes, Service, Reverse Uppers, conservation Soles, also called "Boondockers", mainly used by Marines, Navy and Seabees.

These boots are made with the reversed leather outside and are finished with rubber soles and heels made from moulded rubber with shredded material or fibres in contrast with the normal Reverse Uppers

Made by JDS M.HERMAN SHOE CO. marking 53097 and dated MAY 18 1943 or 1945 Size marking 5F.
