Model 1940 OVERCOAT from 1942 with dark brass buttons size 40R in good order. The coat is double-breasted and has a buttoned half-belt in the back.

The brass buttons are dark to prevent glittering.

Later model has plastic buttons to save on critical brass.

Mainly worn with the Service uniform and off-duty, it was however issued in quantity to combat troops for the winter campaign of 1944-45.
