Description

A liner for use in the German Stahlhelm of the Wehrmacht and all the other armies from 1940, in original condition.

The manufactor is Metaal leder Bearbeitung WZ (Werner Zahn) Bln.Ch'burg 5 (Berlin Charlottenburg 5) The size mark is 68 (size of the stahlhelmet) nA (neuer Art is New Model) and 60 (size of the head) The liner is for a rather big size stahlhelmet.

This aluminum liner is a reinforced type; notice one of the supporting/reinforcing aluminum strips attached to the outer band with 4 small aluminum rivets.

The leather tongues are reasonable souple
